My Thoughts

We all originated from the same Source. Regardless of your religious persuasion or belief, we all agree that we come from a Source that is higher. Alan Warts said “You don’t get wet by calling the word water.” you can call it whatsoever you decide, it does not make any difference. It is the essence of water that matters. You can call your Source any Name, however it is the Essence of it that matters.

There is a personal need to find and reconnect with the essence of that which (or where) I originated from. I desire  to be in harmony with the essence of my Source in the way I think, speak and act. I chose to seek my Source by reading and understanding the Words of Jesus. You are free to choose your own teacher but be sure your teacher is helping you develop harmony with your Source.

According to the Scripture in the Bible, when asked which the greatest commandment was in the law, Jesus answered

… Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. – (Mat 22:37 KJV)

Loving God is finding and staying in Harmony with God (my Source), in thought, word and action.  The heart, soul and mind refers to the core of my thought system, my emotion, intellect and will. I am seeking  to think and ultimately act like God.

And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. – (Mat 22:39 MKJV)

When you are in harmony with God, then you need  to know that your thought towards mankind should be same Like God. When you find yourself thinking of yourself only i e; excluding all others, you are out of harmony with God.  Loving your neighbor as yourself is having the same thought for your neighbor and yourself. As much as you seek God for change by asking for His Grace and Mercy, you have to extend same to your neighbor.

As your read and comment on my blog, Have a mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing. The openness of your mind is your willingness to learn something new and the non-attachment of your mind is your willingness venture out of what you have always know. Get ready to renew old treasures and receive new  treasures for your mind.

What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself  – A. Maslow
