Your Soul, Your Life

Be careful who you invite into your soul. Their words and actions will influence your thoughts. Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts. Be careful who you invite into your soul.

There would come a time in your life when you will have to take stock. This is same as day of Judgment as Jesus taught in Mat 25:31-46. You are ultimately responsible for your life.

I am sharing with you liberating words that came to me from around the world. I pray they bless you with freedom in your soul as much (even more so) as they are blessing me..

  1. Inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow other people or event to control your emotions.
  2. Surround yourself with people who know your worth. You don’t need too many friends in your life; you just need a few who can see who you are, and appreciate your uniqueness and value.
  3. Never waste your time trying to explain who you are to people who are committed to misunderstanding you.
  4. Don’t waste words on people who deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all.
  5. The less you respond to negative people, the more peaceful your life will become.
  6. Some people can’t be in your life because they don’t have the power to help you improve it. That doesn’t mean you don’t wish them well, it just means that you are on Chapter ten of your life, when they are on Chapter five.
  7. You don’t ever need to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn’t matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend or a new acquaintance. You don’t have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It is one thing if a person owns up to his or her behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries and continues to treat in a harmful way, they need to go.

Do you have other liberating experiences ? I would love to “read” from you. The truth shall set us free.
